EAT. The DivaGals live fast lives, and we love a restaurant that can keep up. Enter Balducci’s Gourmet On The Go Café, located inside the famed Hearst Building on the edge of midtown Manhattan. An artisanal vendor offering a great array of goodies like crusty bread, hearty salads, tasty desserts and artistic coffees, it’s really good food made fast. TV DivaGal couldn’t get enough of a crepe filled with Nutella and topped with apples at the new shop’s private press party Tuesday night. Kelly Rutherford also enjoyed the festivities. Sporting a Hermes bag with her Martin Grant dress from Saks and Louboutin shoes, she told the DivaGals that along with Balducci’s, she’s recommending some of her favorite products on www.OpenSky.com and relaunched her website www.KellyRutherford.com. Who wouldn’t need a coffee for all that! And any place that’s good enough for a Gossip Girl is good enough for us. Balducci’s Gourmet On The Go Café, at 301 West 56th St. and 8th Ave. For more of their great products visit www.balduccis.com.
CLEANSE. Since we’re already on the edge of Midtown, why not book your skin a little retreat? The DivaGals did just that when they visited Gotham LASIK & Skincare, a new medical spa in Hell’s Kitchen. This new airy location offers up peels, microdermabrasion, light treatments, lip and eye care and LASIK of course, under the direction of Dr. Brian Bonanni. We decided on a mini Epidermal Recovery treatment, a radiance peel using Obagi skincare, an eye and lip treatment with NIA24 eye cream and get this, Aquaphor for our lips. Our technician asked if we grew up in the suburbs, which we did, and explained that alot of damage can be seen on the right side of the face from being exposed to elements while in the passenger side of the car, fascinating! But a little work goes a long way, and we left feeling radiant, with skincare goodies from Obagi and NIA24 to boot. Gotham LASIK & Skincare, located at 346 West 57th St. Visit www.gothamlasik.com for more information.
WATCH. Ah the lives of twenty-somethings, especially in New York City, is so dramatic. That’s why we can’t get enough of the new web series DayDreaming, a intertwining story of eight young adults in New York City, struggling to find and maintain fulfillment, love and creativity. Get hooked yourself at DayDreaming.com. (We’re kind of daydreaming about Paul ourselves!)
SNOOK. She’s just across the river, so the time feels just about right for a Snooki update. Read all about it in our latest News Gal piece.
