FALL TV 2012: TV Show to Watch Tonight – Elementary

TV DivaGal admits, I love a good procedural drama with a twist. CBS has had me hooked in the past with Cold Case and Without A Trace. Now I’m hoping to find the same love affair with its latest offering Elementary.

Jonny Lee Miller plays the famed detective Sherlock Holmes in modern day times. He’s unusual, a bit anti-social and a recovering alcoholic getting counseling in the form of Lucy Liu — his own female Watson. Together, this duo solves heinous crimes in the streets of New York City (my hood, which always make me want to watch!).

We know you style gals love Lucy’s personal wardrobe, so we made sure to ask her stylist Lee Harris all about it.

Elementary premieres Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. on CBS.

Elementary looks very promising, and I’m already a fan of Lucy Liu. I’m glad that it’s a PrimeTime show and auto-records on my Hopper DVR, because I’m currently traveling and won’t catch the premiere tonight. I always like when the main characters have real-life problems. You have a Modern day anti-social, recovering alcoholic Holmes to cheer on? Sounds like an instant fan favorite to me. I know a couple coworkers at DISH that mentioned they were going to watch it just for Lucy Liu. I just hope that the show fits and doesn’t get the axe before it has a chance.
