    Delania,

Listened to your commentary this morning on The Takeaway and wanted let you know that your insights were great. Are you a regular commentator?

I was not an instant fan of The Takeaway, but as WNYC broadcasts it from 6 to 7 on its FM signal, I have come to appreciate. I look forward to hearing you again on the show and will, of course, let your grandmother know that I heard your piece.

    Good luck with the blog.

Hi I read your article on “Why The Guy Who’s Not Your Type May Be Mr.Right” and I was wondering if you’d be willing to give some personal advice.

I’ve liked this guy for a long time, but I’m not sure I should date because I’m afraid he’s into bad stuff, like he drinks and smokes. I’ve even heard he’s done pot, but I feel a really strong connection and am not sure if I should take it any farther, because what if he really is a bad guy? It sounds like he’s headed for trouble and I’ve heard people don’t really change and you can’t make them change. But I am not attracted to anyone else in any way.

    Hi Delina
I just read your article (Why the Guy Who’s Not Your Type May Be Mr. Right) and I loved it. I took a chance and went out of my “comfort zone” and started dating a guy that I typically would not have considered. WOW did it pay off. I am so IN LOVE with him and he is a great guy. There was so much benefit by meeting him I am 40 and have dated but never wanted to marry until I met MR Right now I have met him and know he completes me. Now that I have shocked family and friends by setting a date to get married October 9, 2010.

Delaina, I was wondering if you could find out about the blue/purple striped shrug cardigan Lucy Liu wore in “Marry Me.” I know it’s not one of the couture looks in the movie, but I’m in love w/ it and would really appreciate your research. Thanks, Allison

    Hello Delaina,

Just wanted you to know that I have opened a new boutique in the Clarkstown Plaza in New City, New York. The name of our shop is “SILCOTTS Boutique.” Hope you can help us get the word out. We were originally located in Mount Kisco, New York, but wanted to move home to Rockland County. We feature ladies designer apparel and accessories and focus on carrying sizes for all women. We even have a few men’s accessories such as silk ties, leather wallets and cufflinks for convenience. We are evolving each day as we find our our customer niche in our new location.

Best wishes and hope you have an opportunity to stop by and spread the word.
