Control Your Man’s Manhood — And Be The Best Boo He’s Ever Had!By Regan Farley | September 29, 2016 | Love
Hey Divas, it’s your girl Regan Farley. Pour a big glass of wine because ladies, this is gonna be interesting!
Have you ever wanted to control your man’s manhood, but didn’t know the first steps as to how ? A woman who goes under the mysterious moniker of SAM came up with a quick guide of not only unlocking the male psyche, but getting that full blown control us women may want. As SAM would say, being the best girlfriend or wife isn’t only about satisfying him. It’s about dissolving destructive behavior and attributes, disbursing fears and limitations and gaining complete control over yourself first, to control the d&*%.
Take a look at my conversation with the author of How to Control The D&*%: The Good Girl’s Guide to Being The Best Girlfriend or Wife He’s Ever Had.
How did you come up with title?
It took a while for me to get used to the name, originally I went with the subtitle. I wanted to come up with something that was a bit more thought provoking. My book is about control, but not control as to how people think. A woman or a gay man may read the book looking for how to control the d&$^# sexually but it’s not just about the that. The bottom line of the book is you really can’t control anyone but yourself.
As a strong-minded woman, control is something we sometimes have issues — with balancing work and relationships. Talk to me about the standpoint you have on begin the boss and being the part of a team in a romantic relationship.
I am that strong person when it comes to my career so it’s something I understand. Because I have to be a certain way at work which may be masculine oriented, sometimes I have to turn that off. A man who is heterosexual isn’t looking for a woman showing masculine behavior. I have to turn that off and become a woman who isn’t being guarded and just simply be me.
What are some overarching themes of the book?
SAM: The most important is I didn’t want a book that was talking down to people. I wanted to write a book that people could use in everyday life. I want women to feel empowered in who they are as women. I want women to embrace who they are in that moment. Also, the daily tips that were approved by men. I want women to say here are some ideas and I can now apply them to my personal life.
What are some challenges you’ve faced when you created the book?
The book wasn’t a “sit down and let me write this” experience; it was more formed out of my blog. People kept telling me to write something. One of the most challenging things was that some things in the book might be based on traditional gender roles, but I didn’t want women to think I was taking them back.
What are some ways you’ve been promoting the book ?
I’m doing a lot of social media promotion and a mini book tour. I will be touring to 15-20 cities, mostly on the east coast. I’ll go to LA and places like that. I want to be engaged with both women and men. I want to have a panel of at least three to five men and want people to be engaged during the events.
What are some other things that you have in the works ?
This book is apart of a series so you will have a few more. I’m also looking to producing and directing my first film.
Ladies, there you have it! We are in control more than ever before. We know what it takes to even choose the right pair of shoes, so choosing the right man may take some great convincing. SAM gives us a crash course on control and relationships through some amazing conversations she’s had with her male counterparts.
