WATCH. Don’t make evening plans on March 5. There are a bunch of new shows premiering. Grab a bowl of popcorn and rev up the DVR for your own Sunday night screening marathon!
Making History. A shy guy takes his best pal (Yassir Lester) back in time so he can introduce him to his new girlfriend, Paul Reeves’ daughter – in the 1700s. Making History premieres at 8:30 p.m. on FOX.
Time After Time. Jack The Ripper is making a comeback (and that’s not a good thing!). He’s tripped into 2017, and plans to do what he does best – kill again – unless he can be stopped by a young H.G. Wells. Genesis Rodriguez, Nicole Ari Parker and Omar Maskati star. Time After Time premieres 9 p.m. on ABC.
The Arrangement. We’ve been salivating for the premiere of E! new scripted series about a young actress who agrees to a “contracted” marriage with her A-lister boyfriend. We spoke with series star and #WBWD Josh Henderson at an NBC press party this week. He wouldn’t reveal much except that there are “so many twists and turns” in the show, we’ll never stop being shockingly surprised. The Arrangement premieres at 10 p.m. on E!
Chicago Justice. As if PD, FD and med aren’t enough! Now we’re balancing the scales of justice with Carl Weathers and the rest of the crew in the hallowed halls of the district attorney’s office. Chicago Justice premieres at 9 .m. on NBC. Stay at 10 for Shades of Blue and Jennifer Lopez, who is back as the crooked cop turned FBI informant who’s just trying to keep her head above water. Season two premieres at 10 p.m. on NBC.
CARRY. We’re so looking for an excuse to carry our gorgeous new bag from solo.net. This case – known as the Jay Leather Tote – is made from 100 percent full-grain leather and has a padded pouch that can accommodate a 15.6” laptop. There are several smaller pouches to keep your items organized, metal feet to protect the bottom of the bag and back pocket to slide over a rolling suitcase handle. And the coolest design item of the bag – it’s vivid blue interior lining! Like we said, we can’t wait to take our new bag out for a spin, so we’ve booked a trip to Miami. We’ll just say the bag did it! Get your laptop tote at solo.net.
SIP & SEE. When you open your favorite bottle of wine, ever wonder who’s behind the label? Decanted is a new documentary that reveals four personalities behind the labels, including Napa Valley winemaker Steve Reynolds, who is prominently featured in the documentary. We talked with Steve at an intimate wine tasting in New York City, where we tried one his $115 bottle of Cab (second from right) and it was delicious! Steve explained that much of his staff are of Hispanic descent, proving once again how important a diverse America really is! Check out the trailer for Decanted, available now on iTunes and enjoy your next glass!
LISTEN. There’s a hot new voice on the scene… Greg Banks, who’s described as “The Saint of Soul.” This New Orleans native’s most recent track ‘Tell Me’ is an eclectic and unexpected fusion of funk, soul and rock-n-roll. Banks’ exuberant sound masterfully pays homage to guitar heroes Jimi Hendrix and Lenny Kravitz and the R&B and funk sounds that originated in his hometown. His amazing body of musical works includes his hit singles “Your Love,” “16” and “Brooklyn Girl,” all available on iTunes. Greg sent a special message to the DivaGals… watch below!
