GAL APPROVED! Superheroes Spar. Plus: Get Entrepreneurial & Support Breast CancerBy The DivaGals | March 25, 2016 | Dish!, Entertainment
SPAR. Virtually every guy we know is seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice this weekend, so DivaGals should be in the know! Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman starts a personal vendetta to take him down. And yeah, Lex Luther is still after the man of steel. Can’t we all just get along? Now playing nationwide.
EDUCATE. Even though it’s not October, Breast Cancer Awareness is still of upmost importance. So if you’re living in California, you’ll certainly want to support the Pink Plate campaign. Created by five incredible breast cancer survivors, their mission is to promote early detection and help more women and families survive this terrible disease. Women of Hispanic and Native American descent have the lowest percentages to screen for breast cancer, and this can oft be due to cost. All funds generated from sales of the California Pink Ribbon License Plate will be deposited into the Breast Cancer Control Account, which funds the Every Woman Counts (EWC) program. EWC is administered by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and provides free clinical breast exams and mammograms to California’s underserved women. Get involved and get your plate at pinkplate.org!
