GAL APPROVED! A Big Beanstalk. Oscars Gift Lounge & Healthy Snacks from Lucky Spoon Bakery!By DIVAGALS | March 1, 2013 | Gal Approved
CARRY. Entertainment Gal is a busy one, so Minim is designed specifically for the woman-on-the-go, is my perfect solution. I got my first glimpse of the new line of handbags at the GBK 2013 Academy Awards Nominees and Presenters Red Carpet Gift Lounge at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Designed to be a one-size-fits-all solution for women who go from the office to the lunch meeting to the dinner date, all in one day, the light travel bag is two bags in one: the inner bag separates from the outer shell. The outer shell is reversible and fits a 15-inch computer as well as large binders. Together the two bags create multiple pockets for all the things a busy, fashionable woman needs. The larger travel bag converts from a work tote to a carry-on bag and comes with detachable wheels. There is no removable inner bag on this one but it does have a detachable clutch. Both bags are made from leather and Nylon Codura. We dig the Simone, inspired by Australian conductor Simone Young, one of only two females to ever conduct at the Metropolitan Opera House. On top of all this, Minim bags are affordable, ranging from $225 to $325.
CONDITION. I don’t know about the rest of you DivaGals, but I have a problem with dry hair AND with greasy product build up. This means that I can’t use a lot of the products on the market because I end up with a greasy mess on my head. So I loved learning about the Matrix Solution ExquisiteOil at the GBK lounge. This new line of products features a Moringa Oil blend. I know: what the heck is Moringa Oil? It is derived from the seeds of the Moringa oleifera tree, a species native to the Himalayas. It is full of antioxidants and is known to increase the health and strength of the hair and scalp. It is also rich in moisturizing fatty acids. In the Matrix ExquisiteOil system, the Moringa Oil blend maximizes moisturizing and protective benefits while being weightless and greaseless, which makes it ideal for any and all hair types. The system includes: Micro-Oil Shampoo, Oil Crème Conditioner, and Replenishing Treatment. I definitely plan and checking this out and will report back with results.
SEE. Three reasons we’ll be seeing Jack the Giant Slayer this weekend: 1. We dig the now grown About A Boy star Nicholas Hoult, who charmed us in Warm Bodies. 2. Love a modern take on a classic fairy tale. 3. 3D means three times the excitement! Jack the Giant Slayer opens nationwide today.
MUNCH. Love dessert, but not the gluten? Lucky Spoon Bakery has a delish line of cookies and muffins. Choose from chocolate chip or peanut butter, or even better: the chocolate chip peanut butter cookie. Yes, we admit – we’re eating one right now! The muffins come in lemon, almond, cinnamon and pecan versions. Ok, maybe we’re eating one of those too! Ready to stock your shelf? Find out where to buy at www.luckyspoon.com.
