GAL APPROVED Weekend: Skincare Big and Small, Pilot Pens as Fashion, Primetime Emmys and A Fashion Week Giveaway!By DIVAGALS | September 20, 2013 | Entertainment, Gal Approved
CLEANSE. To jet set off to other Fashion Weeks taking place across the globe, we need our fave products travel sized. We can’t get enough of EcoGenics 5-part skincare system – a mini cleanser, serum and moisturizer for daily cleansing and micro-dermabrasion cream and mineral masque soufflé for weekly treatments. Blending natural ingredients with breakthrough anti-aging technology, our skin looks major from this mini-collection!
CLEAR. The minute Social Gal hears “antioxidant cream,” I immediately think about of eating blueberries. I know, so random! But blueberries are shock full of antioxidants and while I don’t encourage eating Sesha Skin Therapy (you might get a tummy ache!), I do recommend trying their advanced antioxidant cream enriched with Carosine, which helps fight the negative effects of oxidative stress and glycation. In other words, it prevents the aging process and the look of damaged skin. Winner, winner—chicken dinner! Second of all, don’t you want pretty skin, I sure do. Use a dime size amount during the mornings or at night after you apply your face moisturizer, as part of your beatifying-face ritual, and watch your skin look shiner and healthier. And grab some blueberries while you’re at it.
CREATE. To bring back writing in style, Pilot pens presented this funky pen-encrusted bag, which I loved, at the GBK Lounge during NY Fashion Week Spring 2014. Their new range of pens in colored and erasable ink made taking notes during runways fun! Social Gal’s favorite was the erasable metallic purple pen, so royal!
CATCH. It’s Emmy time! Along with visiting the Annual Gift Lounge, hosted by GBK Lounge, we’re prepping our night Sushi and prosecco to watch repeated host Neil Patrick Harris (pictured center, up top), and celebrate who takes top honors at the annual ceremony. Catch the 65th Emmy Awards live Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8 pm on CBS.
