With Spring here, the DivaGals are already thinking about wearing less layers and showing more skin. With that in mind, we’ve been focusing on our health and fitness a little bit more.
You don’t need to go all out in order to get a great body. You just need to follow a few tips to help you look and feel great. These are also perfect for any Divas lacking motivation or feeling sluggish. Follow a few simple fitness tips and you will be off to a great start.
Start With A Smoothie
One of the best ways to start your healthy eating regime is to start the day with a fresh smoothie. There are so many different ways to ensure that you get all of your vitamins, but one of the simplest is to buy a good blender and start making smoothies. There are so many ways and ingredients you can use in a smoothie – and we say be inventive: it produces the best results! Pre-chop your fruit and veg and store it in the fridge or freezer. Ladies, we need our protein! Eggs make a delicious breakfast, but they’re also great in salads along with chicken, beef or tuna. Vegan? Beans or lentils mixed with a grain can give you your protein, or try tofu and tempeh. If you have high-calorie recipes that you love, why not flip them and try to bake, steam or saute? You can still have all the flava – and a lot fewer calories!
Walk and Run
Getting in shape doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive. All you need is a great pair of shoes. Walking and running are great ways to get out there, raise your heart rate and see the world, one step at a time. Find a local park or take a hike up into the woodlands for a fun and challenging adventure. Take things slow at first and then work up to your desired fitness level. Make Small Changes With Big Impact
