More diverse shows introduced at Press Tour Winter 2018!
The groundbreaking international thriller McMafia is an eight-part series created by Iranian writer Hossein Amini and James Watkins, based on the book of the same name. In it, Alex Godman is drawn deeper and deeper into the world of organized crime, as he is forced to deal with his past and seek revenge on his family. Premieres Monday, Feb 26 at 10 p.m. on AMC.
Cory Hardrict returns to screen in The Oath (pictured up top), the new drama series about police gangs from executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television. It premieres on Crackle March 8. See a sneak peek below.
Liberation Day comes to Sundance TV. Slovenian cult band Laibach becomes the first rock group ever to perform in the state of North Korea. The band is unleashed on an audience never before exposed to alternative rock music in the midst of an incredibly tense, war-bound era between the two Koreas. Premiering on the network March 8.
Hulu premieres the first two episodes of multi-award-winning The Handmaid’s Tale, season two, starting April 25.
Pop TV brings the supernatural comedy The Demons of Dorian Gunn, to the network. It’s the story of disgraced New York socialite Dorian Gunn who discovers he’s descended from a long line of demon hunters and is forced to abandon his plush life to protect humanity from monsters. Starring Chrissie Fit and Lateefah Holder. Premieres on POP TV this summer.
