Ready For A Night of Vaudeville? Check It Out at NoMad NYC!By Delaina Dixon | October 17, 2018 | Gal Approved
SEE. Ready for a show that presents comedy, burlesque, music, dance and improv all under one roof? New York-based producers Jason Jude Hill and Daniel Sears of GrumpyFilms & Productions are behind RSVP at Arlo, now happening at Arlo NoMad boutique hotel. This variety performance is part sexy, part funny and all entertaining. My night kicked off with an improv performance from, X Plus One, an improvised 40s sci-fi radio sho which uses names and suggestions from the audience to create their episode (and thank you for choosing my superhero name: Roped Lightning!). Then it was on to body-confidence burlesque from Mandarine Moon-Fly. The rest of the evening included a solo dance performance, a jazz trio and the comic stylings of Shalewa Sharpe. RSVP at Arlo returns Oct. 19 and 20 with 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows. Tickets are $5 to $35 dollars and include a cocktail.
