There are so many beauty products out there, what criteria can you use to chose the right ones? How about basing it on the climate that you’re in?

That’s the concept behind Cast Beauty, a new app created by tech guru Sian Morson. “Based on a personal profile, but also using specific data points from the weather, Cast Beauty will automatically locate where you are an provide a list of skin and hair care products,” Sian says.

Sian came up with the app after she relocated from the San Francisco Bay area. “There, it never gets too hot and it’s cool in the evenings; it’s middle of the ground in terms of weather. I relocated to Atlanta in early spring where everything was covered in pollen. As it got warmer with the humidity, my skin broke out and my hair felt different, which led me down the path of figuring out how weather plays a big part in affecting our skin and hair. “

Once you download Cast Beauty (available on iTunes and Android), you register via your Amazon account, which will actually fulfill any orders made. You take a short personal profile, entering your hair and skin type, and voila, your suggestions appear instantly. Traveling? Cast also will let yo know what products to get to best combat that weather zone and keep looking your best. You can add locations to your to keep up with your jet-setting life!

If being your personalized beauty consultant isn’t enough, Cast Beauty also tells you the weather daily, so you can always know whether or not to leave your umbrella at home.

TVDivaGal gave the app a whirl, and here are some of the products suggested based on my Divalicious NYC life!
