TV DivaGal got her hands on a screener of Believe, which premieres tonight.
It’s the story of a an extraordinary little girl, Bo, whose supernatural powers makes her someone people want to have in their possession, really bad people. Here are three reasons why you’ll want to tune in tonight.
1. Delroy Lindo is back on TV. Delroy, who’s been working steadily for nearly 40 years, plays Winter who hand picks Tate, a convict on death row, to protect Bo. He know a lot of secrets surrounding Tate and Bo, and we’ll be hanging on for every one of them.
2. It’s directed by an Oscar winner. Alfonso Cuarón, who just won this year’s Best Directing Oscar for Gravity, is part of the creative team behind this series of phenomenon. So yes, the special effects will defy – well, you know.
3. Jake McLaughlin is an American treasure – literally. Jake, who plays Bo’s reluctant guardian Tate, Served as a dismount infantry S.A.W. gunner during the invasion of Iraq and was honored with several medals before he became an actor. And he’s easy on the eyes.
Believe premieres Monday, March 10 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
