Three Reasons To Watch Containment Tonight on The CW!By Delaina Dixon | April 19, 2016 | Dish!, Entertainment
Hey DivaGals! Break out your most stylish gas mask. Containment premieres tonight on The CW.
Our fearless EIC attended the TV conference panel of the limited run series, which examines the lives affected by a viral outbreak in a major city – just what does one do when a loved one is on the wrong side of quarantine?
Here’s three good reasons for you to tune in tonight!
1. The storyline is based in plausible facts. Containment‘s executive team turned to the experts, the Center for Disease Control, to make sure they were on the right track with their terrifying virus scenarios. “We had a representative from the CDC helping us,” says producer Chris Ord. But it will still be telling how people are affected, shares producer Julie Plec. “being able to tell stories about ordinary people going through all of these deep and complex emotions in the context of something so vivid,” that’s what counts.
2. The cast is chock full of diversity. While it’s unfortunate that a virus doesn’t discriminate, the good news for us is this series casting represents all races and hue That includes Kristen Gutoskie, Christina Marie Moses and English actor David Gyasi.
3. Paging Dr. Cannert. Meet George Young, who plays the handsome doc and schooled us on how to handle a virus in this previous interview with the DivaGals!
Containment airs tonight, Tuesday, April 19 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
