TV Upfronts 2015 : What We’ll Be Watching This Season on CBS!By Delaina Dixon | May 14, 2015 | Entertainment
CBS unveiled its new Fall lineup yesterday. While CBS is making an effort to make sure their ensemble shows have diverse casts, we were a little disappointed that no show in the new line-up is headlined by a person of color. It’s also time to say bye-bye CSI. CBS will kick off its Fall season with a two-hour series finale to the original of the CSI franchise. Check out what you should be watching on CBS this Fall.
Supergirl. WHAT’S IT ABOUT. Well, the title says it all. A young woman has super abilities that can save the world. OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. Supergirl has to have her Jimmy Olsen. This time it’s in the form of Mechad Brooks. Yum.
Limitless. WHAT’S IT ABOUT. A man is given the opportunity to tap into all his brain capacity, and is using his new limitless skills to aid the government in solving crimes. OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. We loved the film starring Bradley Cooper, an this White Boy We Dig is executive producing and making a guest appearance in the series. And he’s added Hill Harper, which is very smart on Bradley’s part!
Code Black. WHAT’S IT ABOUT. This is your classic medical drama, this time set in the busiest ER in the nation, where Code Black situations – meaning there are more patients than hospital personnel – occur on the daily. OUR DIVALICIOUS TAKE. CBS executive Nina Tassler said that this show offers up a diverse cast, and indeed, Luis Guzmán, former Miss India Melanie Kannokada and William Allen Young star, but we could have used a little more black people in our Code Black.
