What To Wear In Palm Springs, Pasadena And Los Angeles – TV DivaGal’s Winter Getaway Outfits!By Delaina Dixon | February 6, 2018 | Style
Hey Divas! It’s COLD in New York City – so our fearless EIC headed to the West Coast for some sun, fun and cute warm winter outfits. Here’s how you can get yours!
Hey Divas! I spent seven glorious days on the West Coast, where the average temperature was 70 degrees! To visit “That Pink Door” in Palm Springs, Calif., I chose bright colors and patterns to offset the gorgeous piece of art deco. Top and skirt: Old Navy. Cop your own version of a cool patterned bomber like this one from Zara. Earrings: AVA Circular Blue Pave Studs.
Did you know there are serene park grounds right in the heart of Los Angeles? For my afternoon at stunning Greystone mansion and gardens, I paired an OCTAVIA Lace Trim Strappy Cami in peacock with skinny jeans and my Under Armour cross trainers. Purse: Vintage Fendi.
The locks? A unit made from Wagman Virgin Hair. This hair takes a beating (I’ve dyed these bundles several times) and still feels as soft as it was BEFORE I colored it.
The weather was a balmy 77 degrees for my show Celebrity Page’s Grammy Viewing party inside The Grove in Los Angeles. I paired an electric blue Zara jumpsuit with a bright green and blue zippered top from Shein.com – worn backward. (I love to turn pieces around to see how they work!) J’adore this Octavia & CO. Scallop Statement Necklace which gave this outfit a little pop, along with a studded belt and a beige stacked heel. When you really want to make a statement on the carpet – leave the makeup to the professionals. MAC offers several levels of services to get you camera ready! And the handsome man? Our host Jaymes Vaughn – who towers my tiny 5 feet at 6’4!
Divas, always pack one piece that earns its weight in your carry on! For me, it was this lattice jumper dress from Zara. I wore it THREE different ways…
Under a t-shirt and my fave Nanette Lepore light winter coat for my visit to The Huntington museums and gardens in Pasadena, Calif. Be sure to check out the hall of female artists and Tiffany Favrile Glass.
This may have been the most innovative look. With some creative tucking (under my bra!), I turned my sleeveless romper dress into a skirt matched with this sparkly gold top for drinks at Catch L.A. – shiny compliments all night long!
