MONDAY, Sept. 5
The Chew SERIES PREMIERE (ABC- Check local listings for times) The wildly successful cooking-talk show hybrid returns for its sixth season with guest Freddie Prinze Jr. and Labor Day cocktails!

Loosely Exactly Nicole SERIES PREMIERE (10:30 p.m., MTV) Comedian Nicole Byer is showing exactly why life as a would-be star in Hollywood isn’t all that it seems as she tackles “humiliating auditions, unpaid electric bills, friendship ups and downs and the battlefield that is Tinder.” We can solve that one. Delete your account!

TUESDAY, Sept. 6
Queen Sugar SERIES PREMIERE (10 p.m., OWN) This exciting new drama chronicles professional sisters Nova (Rutina Wesley) and Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner), who return home to the fictional town of Saint Josephine, La. after a family tradegy to run their inherited struggling sugarcane farm in the Deep South. Led by acclaimed film director Ava DuVernay, who directed the first two episodes, all episodes in the series’ debut season are directed by women. Watch the two-night premiere!

Altanta SERIES PREMIERE (10 p.m., F/X) Community alum Donald Glover brings his own voice to the screen as, a man determined to make his name count, by turning his cousin into the next great hip-hop star.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 7
Tyrant SEASON FINALE (10 p.m., F/X) We hear Barry will throw his weight around Daliyah when she is in jail and convince her to give him a patient ear, but she may do her best to suffer in silence.

THURSDAY, Sept. 8
Better Things SERIES PREMIERE (10 p.m., F/X) A middle-aged mom tries to balance work, life and her three daughters, which includes teen actress Mikey Madison.

FRIDAY, Sept. 9
Stand Up To Cancer (8 p.m., NBC) Celebs unite for Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C), a live fundraising telecast to benefit cancer research. Get involved at standup2cancer.org.
