The Good Doctor (Mondays)
What’s It About? The newest resident at San Jose Saint Bonaventure Hospital is one of its most brilliant surgeons. Dr. Shaun Murphy also has autism and savant syndrome. It allows him to experience his chosen career in ways no one can imagine.
Our Divalicious Take. This can be a fascinating insight into the life of someone who has a little-understood disease, and how they work to fit into our world. In a time where we need to explore and appreciate our differences, the seriesΓÇÖ timing couldnΓÇÖt be better.

The Mayor (Tuesdays)
WhatΓÇÖs It About?┬áA young rapper runs for mayor ΓǪ and wins. He’s under-qualified, but unlike some people in government, Courtney Rose is one man who will actually fight for equal rights for all.
Our Divalicious Take. ABC most successful comedies revolve around family. Luckily, The Mayor has been smart enough to give Courtney, played by Brandon Michel Hall, a devoted mom – actress Yvette Nicole Brown, and two best buds. America needs a new comedic voice, and Courtney may be just the guy to serve it up. The Mayor has our vote.

Alex, Inc. (midseason)
What’s It About? A radio journalist and father of two quits his job to start up a podcast company.
Our Divalicious Take. From the mind of Zach Braff and the podcast StartUp, Alex, Inc. is also smartly making family its centerpiece. And we’re so happy to see it’s a diverse family, with Miss India America’s Tiya Sircar starring as Zach’s wife.

Dancing With The Stars Junior  (midseason)
What’s It About? This new installment of DWTS will pair celebrity kids and kids of celebrities with professional junior ballroom dancers to compete for that coveted win.
Our Divalicious Take. This one is a no-brainer. Fans who love DWTS will love watching their fave star’s offspring Waltz, Rhumba and Doble for the mirrored trophy.

The Crossing (midseason)
What’s It About? A small fishing town becomes a haven for refugees from a war-torn country – only these people seeking asylum are from a war-raged America more than 100 years into the future.
Our Divalicious Take. No one does psychological drama quite like ABC. And since this is from the creators of Lost, there will be twists, turns and a little of the other world in this sure to be conspiracy-theory creating, can’t miss an episode series. Its diverse cast includes Natalie Martinez, Rick Gomez and Marcuis Harris.
