SociaLaughs, a Black-owned business, is the creator of the popular card games: “Passport to the Hood“; “CelebSaid” and “The Story of My Life.”

Residents of Charlotte, Crystalyn and Anthony Kent were born, raised and college-educated in North Carolina. After years in corporate America with extensive expertise in finance and technology, the young couple decided to create games inspired by their life experiences growing up in black culture. These inclusive games are designed to introduce and celebrate the nuances of the Black experience, which includes hip-hop, rap, comedy, pop-culture and politics.

Passport to the Hood. This game (pictured up top) includes three volumes, highlighting hilarious moments of urban culture: everything that you hear behind closed doors and reflecting the things we experienced growing up.
