New York City has many fantastic neighborhoods, and we try to check out the laid-back East Village whenever possible. It’s known for chic cocktail lounges and trendy eateries that share the streets with classic pubs, concert halls and performance places.

On a rainy Monday night, we went to Pineapple Club. We love its glass ceiling, pineapple accents, tiki bar and tropical feel.

We started with a spicy margarita, lychee martini, delicious fresh oysters, calamari and guacamole. The service is friendly and relaxed.

For dinner, we enjoyed fresh grilled salmon and mouth-watering cheesecake for dessert. It was worth the trip, and we can’t wait to return!
