A Girls’ Night Out At PB Brassier Steak House In Harlem, New York

Earlier this week, I had the absolute joy of sharing a girls’ night out dinner with Nollywood’s radiant star, Susan Peters. We tucked ourselves into a cozy table at PB Brasserie Steak House in Harlem, the newest culinary gem from the brilliant mind behind Ponty Bistro, Chef Cisse.

From the moment we walked in, the mood was effortlessly chic—Harlem’s heartbeat pulsing outside, while inside was all elegance and warmth. Susan was glowing (as she always does), her laughter spilling like champagne bubbles, making even the waitstaff smile.
We began our evening with crisp, golden calamari, a heaping bowl of savory mussels and fries, and plates of tender grilled salmon that melted in our mouths. To sip, Susan ordered a refreshing mocktail with just the right balance of citrus and sparkle, while I opted for a bold gin cocktail, perfectly mixed. Each bite and sip felt like a love letter to Harlem’s culinary soul.

Between bites, Susan shared stories of her time in New York, the upcoming fashion week shows, and how Harlem’s rhythm reminded her of Lagos—vibrant, soulful, unapologetically alive. She weaved glamour and groundedness in every word.
By the time dessert, New York-style cheesecake, arrived, I had to take it to go since I was absolutely stuffed. By the time we left, we were as full as our plates had been.
Evenings like this are the absolute luxury—good food, sisterhood, and the kind of laughter that stays with you long after. If you’re in Harlem and craving not just a meal, but an experience, PB Brasserie is calling. And trust me—answer the call.
