Image Gal Samantha von Sperling shares her night at Orgullosa.
I went to an event to celebrate P&G’s Orgullosa Nueva Latina campaign, and the debut of the Nueva Latina Monologues, which personify the unique and complex journey of the bicultural Latina experience.
Orgullosa.com is the go-to online spot for the modern Latina on the go. Written in Spanish, the site offers tips on being a smart professional while also being a sexy domestic goddess. That’s right, we Latina DivaGals embody it all!
La La Anthony and Roselyn Sanchez were just some of the celebrities attending the fete, held at the Helen Mills Theater in New York City. VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live co-host Adrienne Bailon revealed to us that she will be returning to The Real this summer, which means a move back to Los Angeles. And this time, she’s going to learn a little something that should make her work commute easier. “I’m going to be getting a driver’s license,” she shared. “I don’t have one, I’ve never driven in my entire life. I hope I don’t kill anyone in the process. My Real co-hosts are the ones that are supposed to be teaching me how to drive.”
Clairol Color Director James Corbett offered tips and mini-makeovers to perk up the hair we are culturally obsessed with. Pantene, Olay and Venus were also represented. Naturally, the gift bag was fantastic. My fellow DivaGals and I had a laugh together while catching up over rose sangria at the bar. Fue una noche veja!
