Patrice Majorie talks with hottie Daniel Sunjata at ABC Press Tour!

Graceland and Rescue Me alum Daniel Sunjata spoke to me about his new lead role on ABC’s Notorious. He plays Jake Gregorian, a charming, charismatic and manipulative defense attorney whose character is inspired by famed criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos – Chris Brown‘s lead attorney!

When asked if he ever thought he’d be a lawyer in real life when he was younger, Daniel told me that he thought about it as a sophomore in college because he thought he could make a lot of money. This was all before he took his first theater class the next year at Florida A&M. That changed the course of his life and led him to become a professional actor — thank you Daniel!

I asked if he is at all as manipulative in real life as his character and Daniel replied “yes,” but would not specify on any particulars. We’re sure he’s just as charming as Jake is about it.
