And The Next Guest Star on Glee Is…

JGallagherJrCBSGlee totally made TV DivaGal squeal when it brought Lea Michele‘s leading man from Broadway, Jonathan Groff, to guest on the series.

The two starred as doomed teen lovers in the musical Spring Awakening, much like Rachel and Jesse St. James, who was so in love he gave up Vocal Adrenaline for her (too bad Rachel mucked it up trying to mack it onscreen with all the leading male voices in New Directions!).

Now here’s how Glee can make Spring Awakening fans from across the globe squeal again with, well, you know what: Book John Gallagher Jr. for a guest spot in season two!

John is totally for it, even though he’s currently tearing up the Broadway stage in Green Day’s American Idiot.

“Maybe they can CGI me into an episode and do some computer tricks to make it look like I’m actually there,” he tells the TV DivaGal.

As for which group John would lend his Tony Award winning vocals to, he isn’t picky.

“Whichever one will have me, I’d be lucky to be a part of either glee club,” he says.

Awww, John, you know they’d be the lucky ones to get you!

Catch Glee Tuesday, May 11 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
