ART BASEL & StarShop: Why Rosario Dawson & Paris Hilton Loved Photo Butler in Miami!By Chanel Omari | January 4, 2018 | Gals On The Town
My lovely Divas! We’ve been sharing all week long how much fun your fave StarShop correspondent Chanel Omari had at Art Basel with StarShop: the celebrity sightings, great events, fashion, art and more!
StarShop, from CEO Jim Morrison and COO Marvin Segel who partnered with Sprint, is the coolest mobile app, website and soon-to-be TV network that pairs original celebrity content with shopping – one of our favorite pastimes – and you can download the app on iTunes or Google Play!
One of my favorite events of Art Basel took place at Soho House South Beach. Photo Butler,┬áa real-time, group photo sharing platform and mobile app┬áon Android and iOS devices, threw a star-studded party hosted by Rosario Dawson, along with┬ásocialite Anna Rothchild and┬áfounder of the Photo Butler app Andy Goldfarb. The platform empowers users to create one of a kind photostream for any event or special moment like this one, that we all still can’t get enough of!
Paris Hilton was there, taking photos with fans and catching up on girl talk with your fave Star Shop and Iheart Radio host, moi!, on what’s in store for the starlets in 2018.
Paris dished about her perfume Rose Rush, which is selling like hotcakes worldwide and even shared the wealth by spraying me with her very own bottle. She talked about producing new music, which we are all excited about! (We got to see Paris deejay at Wall Miami the following night. She had the crowd going nuts!)
Rosario told me that she is working hard with her fashion line Studio One Eighty Nine, which promotes and curates African and African-inspired content and brands. It’s a collection of batik, indigo, and hand-painted apparel, as well as accessories, and many items come from Ghana.┬áStudio One Eighty Nine has a storefront in New York City as well. We can’t wait to check it out.
We were all mesmerized by artist Tiago Margo, who created live-action paintings on canvasses throughout the event.
Our Divalicious EIC Delaina Dixon and I hit the dance floor with actress and comedian, Carol J. Castillo from HBO’s hit show Ballers, and we were all laughing and embracing the moment!
Make sure to download your photo butler app for your next event. More info at photobutler.com.
