Do This! Atlanta Artist Leroy Campbell Opens Studio With A Community Brunch

When we think of famous people and their homes there is bound to be a painting, sculpture or some other version of art. Want a piece for yourself? Our Divas in Atlanta, you’re in luck.
This weekend, experience artist Leroy Campbell in his brand new studio with a weekend of opening events beginning on Nov. 2.
Starting his career as a contemporary artist in 1983, Leroy is best known for fusing art history and using nostalgic themes and collages of afro-centric periodicals in paintings depicting African-American culture and relationships. “I want to break bread with my supporters,” he says. “I am so grateful to be alive to create, and I would like to show my appreciation by opening up my studio space to the public.” The studio opening will include 25 new original works along with 15 limited edition reproductions.
