Be Inspired By These Two Iconic Fashion Designers — NY Fashion Week Fall ’22!By The DivaGals | February 24, 2022 | Food Fashion Style
We know what you’re thinking: Fall Fashion? I’m still gearing up for Spring! Believe it or not, we just celebrated NY Fashion Week, with outfits too stunning to wait to see in September!
Check out these three incredible designers’ works for the upcoming season.
Kevan Hall‘s Fall/Winter 2022 collection Trading Post! envisions a burgeoning time when travelers would meet to exchange wares, folklore and handcrafted textiles — from Mali to Morocco. He uses regional fabrics, accented with blackened gold and copper metallics in his designs, reimagining a glorious era of seafaring trade and opulent beauty. The collection includes textured prints inspired by Northern Africa that are transformed into timeless signature pieces. By incorporating rich jacquards, matelassé, and brocades, Hall uses materials to take us on a journey through history to a new and unique intersection of time and place — one that is currently uniting us all from great distances. We love this simple but oh-so-elegant pairing of floor-sweeping black pants with a brick red sweater, and the must-have piece of the season: a jacquard jacket.

We know when we’re about to see a Malan Breton show, it’s going to be a mystical experience. And this year, fiery red took center stage as full red jackets, suits and dresses burst onto the catwalk, along with metallic gold being mixed that vibrant red in strapless dresses and fringed skirt bottoms. Breton then calmed things down with pastel lavender suits and shimmery olive green pieces. We jumped with glee over red and black tiger-striped jacket with a bubble overlay bottom. And the gowns! Big, bold and beautiful. But don’t take our word for it. See the show for yourself.
