What To Get From The Best NYC Summer Restaurant BLACKBARN Lunch Menu?
BlackBarn offers appetizers, mains and desserts on its Summer Lunch menu.
To Start
For something light and summery, start with the olive oil-compressed watermelon with heirloom tomatoes and grilled Halloumi cheese. The wild mushroom toast with robiola, taleggio, parmesan and watercress on sourdough is also a top choice.
The Mains
Bring your hunger. Chef Doherty grills up a 36 oz. Tomahawk steak on the bone and serves it with herbed fries. And yes, it’s worth every penny.
If you’re a pescatarian, try the Long Island Black Bass “A la Nage.” It’s a Thai lobster-broth with lobster dumplings, zucchini and scallions.
Your Finish
Sorbet or donuts? Why choose! Try the passionfruit Sorbet with tropical fruit in lemon balm broth and the Apple Cider Donuts in caramel sauce. And did we mention the Rum Butterscotch Bread Pudding? Ok, now we have.
What To Get From The Best NYC Summer Restaurant BLACKBARN Drink Menu?
At BlackBarn, a summer cocktail is a dessert in itself! We loved the A-bit-a-root Beer Float with root beer, dark rum and homemade vanilla ice cream served in a glass rimmed with chocolate sprinkles. The Match-a-made in Heaven is indeed divine with Matcha tea, Tito’s Vodka, banana, honey and oat milk.
