Yes, TV DivaGal knows that Christmas Day is all about candy canes, sugar cookies and holiday ham.
Still, there are some people, like the season eight contestants of The Bigger Loser, who plan to stay on track today!
Here’s their advice on how to have a slim holiday season this year and beyond. Merry Christmas!
Loser host Alison Sweeney: “If you have dessert, account for it in your calories and get to the gym the next day.”
America’s Player Amanda: “When you look at a menu try to make healthier choices, and incorporate working out into your every day routine.”
First runner-up Rudy: “You can still have your favorite dishes, just take out the fat! I make a really nice vegetable lasagna. A quarter section is 300 calories and it’s a huge meal for anyone. There’s eggplant, peppers, onions, tomatoes and low-fat ricotta cheese in it — no olive oil, butter or egg yolks. I take all the fat out and it still tastes good.”
Coach Mo: “Get out and do whatever you can. You might have some aches and pains, it’s part of the process. Just lock it into your mind and achieve the goal, and you’ll be happier than you’ve ever been in your whole life!
Elimination winner Rebecca: “Give yourself 30 minutes a day to change your life forever!”
Catch the next round of The Biggest Loser, season nine, on Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
