Hello Divas! We’re back in Pasadena, Calif., for TV Press Tour, Winter 2020! Here’s the hot news you need to know from CBS TV Press Tour
FBI: Most Wanted premiered on Jan. 7, and it’s a bonafide hit. It had 7.9 million viewers for its live broadcast, which increased to nearly 10 million over the following three-day period. According to star Julian McMahon, the goal is “to get as many people to watch the show as possible.” Looks like the freshman drama, which features a diverse cast, is on its way!
Remember The Silence of the Lambs’ Clarice? Isn’t it about time she got her own series? CBS has greenlit Clarice, following FBI Agent Clarice Starling. According to the network: “It’s 1993, a year after the events with Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Clarice is a deep dive into her untold personal story as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high stakes political world of Washington, D.C .” Sounds just as intense as her previous year!
For all The Price Is Right fans, the game show will return to primetime with three new celebrity-themed specials, to be broadcast in spring 2020. We need to see some 90-Day Fiancé cast members on this!
CBS All Access, CBS’ digital subscription video-on-demand and live streaming service, has cast season two of its original anthology series The Twilight Zone. Colman Domingo, Daniel Sunjata and Billy Porter are just a few of the faces we’ll see, along with a radical episode written by Academy Award-winner Jordan Peele.
