Crohn & Colitis Luncheon @ The Waldorf=Astoria

It’s “Hot Spots” Week! Join the DivaGals as we take you inside some of the coolest spots we visit on all our Diva-licious adventures!

The CrohnΓÇÖs & Colitis Foundation of America, Greater New York Chapter, hosted their awards luncheon at posh and historic The Waldorf=Astoria hotel in Manhattan earlier month. The annual fundraiser is in support of brave individuals taking a stand against Crohn’s and Colitis, and the organization focused on improving the quality of life of people with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research.

As beautiful models walked the runway wearing Oscar de la Renta, we DivaGals couldn’t think of a better place to introduce the world to our newest contributor, Beauty Gal Aminat Ayinde, an alum of America’s Next Top Model, who had a blast chatting it up fellow catwalker Selita Ebanks.

Other movers and shakers of Manhattan like Nightline‘s Cynthia McFadden and White Collar star Tiffani Thiessen were there to take part in the Nineteenth Annual Women of Distinction Luncheon that honored three women for their outstanding work in the CrohnΓÇÖs & Colitis community.

The afternoon took place in the hotel’s four-story Grand Ballroom, and lunch included a lovely fresh mozzarella salad and grilled salmon. Light and delicious!
