Dancing With the Stars Season13, Episode 2: Who Went Home!
By DIVAGALS | September 27, 2011 | EntertainmentDancin’Boy’s lightning results update for Episode 2:
WeΓÇÖre not off to a good start, since Carson is safe and David is in jeopardy. Yikes! BTW, the Nancy Grace non-applause debacle was apparently due to a “wardrobe malfunction” where one of her “twins” popped out during her Quickstep, and we’re not talking about one of her kids! IΓÇÖm still predicting Elisabetta, Chaz or Hope to go home tonight.
Whew! It was almost DavidΓǪ no way! But in the end… sorry Elisabetta. That green dress is hot, but youΓÇÖre out!
Dancin’Boy can hardly keep his feet on the ground as he weighs on last night’s performance episode with his Dancing With the Stars review!
Well folks, here are my thoughts this week…. Booted contestant Ron Artest legally changed his name to Metta World Peace. So they would have been Metta & Peta, can you stand it? I enjoyed everyoneΓÇÖs costumes on his or her introduction, and was totally ready to see how the show turned out! Everyone did a Jive or Quickstep. Both David Arquette, who scored an OK 18, and host Tom Bergeron slipped in the word “ba-ba-bouie” on air, that’s a Howard Stern inside joke (I told you there was a not-so-secret voting campaign in that camp!). After my girl Nancy Grace danced, they showed an entire section of the audience that sat there not applauding. It was pretty lame and rude. I’m still maintaining that Nancy, Rob Kardashian, David and Ricki Lake will make it far (l personally texted nine votes for Nancy and one for David!) I think Chazz Bono, Carson Kressley , Elisabetta Canalis & Hope Solo are in trouble. Here’s my armchair review of the contestants’ performances.
Hope & Maks ΓÇô Maks is smokinΓÇÖ hot. She tried hard, and has a super athletic bod, but I thought her jive didnΓÇÖt really jive.
Kristin Cavallari & Mark ΓÇô This girl drives me nuts, so I always just have to see. yep, still does. She’s just boring. Mark is great and she is pretty, but a major bore.
David & Kym ΓÇô You already know I love David, and he seemed to gain more confidence and security this week. I was hoping they’d give him a good score for trying real hard and giving it his all.
Elisabetta & Val ΓÇô She looked stunning, but I don’t think her footwork is there. Poor Val, ’cause heΓÇÖs a great dancer!
Rob & Cheryl – Wow, wow, wow! He’s the MVP this week; just wonderful, I thought. Even better than his sister, and yΓÇÖall know I love me some Kim Kardashian!
Carson & Anna ΓÇô Anna is amazing… Come on Carson, can you keep up? I did like his glasses. But they don’t make up for his terrible footwork.
Ricki & Derek – I was routing for her, and she and Derek did fabulous! Derek is a great teacher, and I loved every minute of it.
Chazz & Lacey ΓÇô It’s a quick step, not slow step. Love ya Chazz, but that wasnΓÇÖt so hot. You going to have to pick up the pace if you want a place on the lederboard.
Chynna Phillips & Tony – I love Tony, but Chynna seems a bit reserved and nervous, which is such a surprise coming from her. I think, maybe, she’s a bit too loosey-goosey for me.
Nancy & Tristan – She did a wonderful job out there! Nancy is more confident than ever and she’s totally performing better! Vote for them!
JR Martinez & Karina – Besides being a hero, heΓÇÖs a really great dancer. What slick and graceful moves! I loved him.
