Destination Divas Inside Moda Restaurant – A Pictorial

We were escorted to a booth inside the dining room, which has a chic rustic feel with streamlined booths and a full wall candle display.
Our waiter Sergio offered to select some drinks from the restaurant’s signature cocktail list, and we obliged, choosing a pineapple martini to sip as he carefully guided us through the menu.
We eagerly dug into our arugula salad, dressed with beets, raisins and tomatoes, which were drizzled with a balsamic reduction vinaigrette. It also comes with goat cheese.
Our main entrees, salmon with a pumpkin seed crust and topped with fennel, and the Chicken Piccata, which came with fingerling potatoes and capers, were unpretentious winter comfort food choices that were hearty and flavorful. We loved that Sergio paired our meal with a full-bodied Malbec.
After our meal, we enjoyed the dinner aperitif that accompanied our warm molten lava cake topped with vanilla ice cream. A simply good choice.
