DIVA DISH Where Music Meets Couture! Is Unfashionably Late

NY Fashion Week continues! Most of the shows are great experiences, but the smallest thing can throw off the best of intentions.
Dishing Diva had spies at the 9th annual “Where Music Meets Couture Fashion Show last week.” This fashion presentation was a charity plug, where a portion of the proceeds go to The Thurmond Foundation for Arts and Education.
Unfortunately, the venue was very small and the show started two hours late. The music choices were questionable as the DJ played only ’70s and ’80s music until the show ended.
So thank goodness for the 20 minutes of showcasing designs! Model Nicole Murphy made her debut in the fashion show modeling for Edwing D’Angelo‘s colorful and body hugging pieces.
The show also included designers such as Tyrell Collections, Andrew Harris Jr. and more, with professional athletes such as Daruius Morris form the Brooklyn Nets and NY Giants cornerback Walter Thurmond III working the catwalk.
