DIVA GUY Taye Diggs Revs Up The NFL With Duracell!

Right now, settle back for a pre-Fashion Week event we covered with one of the hottest actors sporting model-good looks, Taye Diggs! Our newest contributor Sade Stevens and pal Octavia hang out with the star to “rev up” for NFL season!

Late last month, actor Taye Diggs teamed up with the NY Giants defensive lineman Jon Beason to display how ΓÇ£Duracell powers the NFL.ΓÇ¥ At an exclusive interactive tour of MetLife Stadium, our Duracell adventure was full of energy and excitement!

Upon arrival at the stadium, we were kindly greeted and escorted into the lower lounge facing the great MetLife field and placed in front of the 50 yard line (the most scenic location to witness the field!). We were offered a beautiful spread of lunch items ranging from seafood to eggplant wraps, along with a variety of salads and beautiful desserts, including creme brulee!

The event began with the National Anthem being sung by local talent, fifteen year old Lianah Sta. Following the anthem, we were introduced to Duracell Quantum touted as the worldΓÇÖs most advanced alkaline battery, with unbeatable long lasting power. Taye and Jon then led us on an interactive tour which demonstrated how Duracell works in powering all wireless NFL devices on game day! You can impress the man (or gal pal) in your life who loves football by explaining that Duracell powers the helmets and mics that are needed for the coach to communicate plays to the quarterback.

To demonstrate this, Taye and Jon divided us into two respective teams to slip into an NFL helmet or coachΓÇÖs headset. With the stadiumΓÇÖs audio set high to the sound of ten thousand fans roaring, we attempted to communicate plays to one another from mic to helmet. It was an exciting activity!

We asked Jon how the tenets of the Duracell campaign are present in his own life, and he stressed consistency as the primary principle that fuels him. He was eloquent and thoughtful. It was clear from our interview that his journey towards his current position and his goal of winning the Super Bowl have cultivated him a drive and sense of wisdom that you can witness from the passion in his eyes. We were equally as charmed by Taye, who was charismatic and energetic throughout the event.

At the end, we took home a large gift bag with Duracell goodies to power our own needs and an official NFL Jersey, signed by Jon himself, right above his number, 52. Touchdown!
