Estelle wants us to have sex.
That’s what she declared to me at the grand opening of H&M on 86th and Lexington in New York City.
The clothing emporium was unveiling its exclusive Fashion Against AIDS line to raise money for AIDS research, with t-shirts designed by several celebrities, including Katy Perry, N.E.R.D. and Dita Von Teese.
The Grammy award-winning singer, who was hosting the night’s festivities, reminded us to stay safe while doing the dirty deed with her sexy t-shirt design.
“At one point, I was feeling kind of irresponsible. I was saying, ‘Yeah, just go have sex,’ and people were taking it to heart,” she shared.
“I have a responsibility. If I’m going to say that, then I should say ‘Be careful. Go ahead and have sex, but be safe.'”
Of course, the question is, does the “American Boy” singer practice what she preaches?
“I have, but we’re not going there,” she said.
