Emmy winner and fellow petite gal Kristin Chenoweth is guesting on Glee tonight!
The Broadway babe plays April Rhodes, a former classmate of choir director Will Schuester, who brings her into the club to take it up a notch.
Her presence did just that for the cast, even when the cameras weren’t rolling!
“She was an acting class in herself,” declares Jenna Ushkowitz. Castmate Lea Michele agrees.
“She finds these little moments to add to without being too over the top,” Lea says of Kristin’s musical numbers, which include “Maybe This Time” from Broadway’sl Cabaret and Heart‘s “Alone.”
“She’s singing these songs, and you can hear her singing on top of the dubbing, and it’s so powerful, it moved all of us to tears.”
And if that didn’t get the Glee staff, Kristin’s generosity did.
“She brought cupcakes for the whole entire crew,” says Amber Riley.
I hear the red velvets were delicious.
Catch Kristin on Glee Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
