FASHION FRIDAY: Victoria's Secret PINK NFL

Sports Gal finds her fashion dream line!

Soho was the place to see some of the beautiful people as VictoriaΓÇÖs Secret PINK celebrated the launch of its partnership with the National Football League at its store in the SOHO district of New York City Nov. 1.

VS models Chanel Iman and Erin Heatherton showed off the new VS PINK NFL collection. Both ladies wore team t-shirts and complementary hooded sweatshirts. Chanel represented for the New York Giants, while Erin was a member of Gang Green ΓÇô- the New York Jets — for the night.

Of course Sports Gal learned that despite the Jets gear, Erin grew up a Chicago Bears fan. Chanel also grew up watching football — in Southern California. Both ladies feel that VS PINK and the NFL make a good team because the collection showcases a girlΓÇÖs dynamic individuality and on-the-go lifestyle with co-branded items including t-shirts, jerseys, hooded sweatshirts and sweatpants ΓÇô in the cutest incarnations possible.

Sports Gals loved seeing the collection, as well as New York football players Brandon Jacobs of the Giants and Mark Sanchez of the Jets. And I’m just the tiniest bit jealous that Chanel and Erin got to conduct a playful interview with the guys. But it was really all about the customers on the growing line outside as fans anticipated seeing the models and the NFL stars.

Sports Gal spoke with Erin, who gave me her Super Bowl predictions; she believes in the Jets chances. Her favorite thing to snack on while watching a game? Salty nuts and chocolate, especially chocolate covered strawberries. And of course SG asked Erin for her VS Christmas recommendations. Erin feels that anything in the VS PINK NFL collection is great gift because itΓÇÖs so easy to personalize: just find a personΓÇÖs favorite team. For Sports Gal, that would be the Giants ΓÇô size XS.
