Find A Husband NOW! A DivaGals Exclusive!By DIVAGALS | March 25, 2013 | Entertainment, Food Fashion Style
Spring is finally here! There may be some things you’ve been putting off until this season: cleaning out your closet; stepping up your workout routine; and finding a husband!
That last to-do may be the most challenging, so DivaGalsDaily reached out to relationship expert Siggy Flicker for three top tips to get you on the track. And read on for our own Diva-licious tips to having a little fun as you find Mr. Right!
1. Stop listening to everyone around you.
“Be who you are,” Siggy declares. Being phony or pretending to be someone else doesn’t allow someone to love the real you, and do you really want to keep up those lies for your entire relationship? “WhatΓÇÖs the point,” Siggy exclaims. “Stop wasting everybodyΓÇÖs time ΓÇô- be true to you.”
DivaGals Suggest: Do what you love ΓÇô and let your love come to you! What’s your passion — Running? Singing? Watching old horror movies? Join a club that indulges you in that activity on a regular basis. Not only will you have a great time doing what you love, you just may meet a guy who has the same passion. There’s nothing like having a soul mate who shares a common interest.
2. DonΓÇÖt fear rejection.
Here’s a fact you’re going to have to be accept ΓÇô you will be rejected, itΓÇÖs part of dating. “Not everybody was meant to be together,” Siggy rationalizes. But not getting a second date with Mr. Hottie doesn’t mean your should give up. “DonΓÇÖt give anyone else the power to hold you back.”
DivaGals Suggest: Triple up. Don’t plan just one date every few weeks. Plan several coffee meet ups for the week. Your schedule will be so booked that you’ll hardly have time to feel bad over one rejection when there’s another potential mate up to the plate.
3. Surround yourself with people who are for you, not against you.
In the course of the day, you want to feel good about yourself. But when you’re surrounded by toxic people who say ΓÇ£YouΓÇÖre going to be single forever,ΓÇ¥ you start to believe that, so get rid of those people, Siggy advises. Sometimes, those toxic people are family members. Of course, you canΓÇÖt get rid of them, so just spend as little time with them as possible. This will change your life!
DivaGals Suggest: Declare to your girlfriends that you all have a week celebrating the good men in your life: great dads, awesome brothers and of course, your best guy BFFs. Having a positive attitude about men shifts your focus to believing there are good guys in the world ΓÇô and once your mind changes, the energy around you will change. You’ll start seeing great men around every corner.
