Find Love, DivaGals Style! Plus: WE tv’s Million Dollar Matchmaker!

The DivaGals were front row and center for a special screening preview of WE tvΓÇÖs newest relationship series, Million Dollar Matchmaker. Patti Stanger, who migrated from her hit Bravo series, is helping a whole new group of rich but clueless-in-love singles hopefully find the one, from the top posh floors of HarrahΓÇÖs hotel.

The show is definitely a gentler version of Patti. While sheΓÇÖs still not afraid to say it like it is, the Diva matchmaker seems to be concentrating more on a personΓÇÖs inside to help them find a true match. ΓÇ£What I learned and will use is to not be a cliff jumper — don’t go with the first guy I think looks nice and shiny on the outside because there could be more to the story, and itΓÇÖs not prettyΓÇ¥ said DivaGal Nicole of PattiΓÇÖs love advice to an oft engaged millionairess featured in episode one.

DivaGal Brittany concurs. ΓÇ£It helps you to learn a lot about yourself before getting in a relationship with someone else,ΓÇ¥ she shared after the screening.

Watching the series got us DivaGals thinking: whatΓÇÖs the best advice weΓÇÖve been told when youΓÇÖre on the search for the one. Read below for our tips!

Brittany. ΓÇ£The best advice I got was ΓÇÿdon’t look for a man, let him find you. ThatΓÇÖs how I got my current boyfriend — he found me!ΓÇ¥

Delaina. ΓÇ£The best advice I ever got was from my younger sister, whoΓÇÖs married with children. She said to find someone who has some hobbies you are both interested in, or are willing to learn more about. That way you always have something fun to do together.ΓÇ¥

Maureen. ΓÇ£If you are single and looking then what you are currently doing isn’t working, you need to do ΓÇÿselfΓÇÖ work. People fall in love with what’s inside a person … Don’t focus entirely on your exterior, and be a good listener.ΓÇ¥

Nicole. ΓÇ£I got this from the show: Be open to different types of people and listen with two ears, one mouth. Make sure to ask the right questions of your suitor, while not being to overly flirty.ΓÇ¥

We also rocked some cute date outfits for the screening. Nicole and Brittany both chose dresses from H&M, while Delaina wore a Bisou Bisou one-shoulder frock. Maureen chose a BCBG top and a metallic bandage skirt from Cut25 by Yigal Azrouel.

Million Dollar Matchmaker premieres on Friday, July 8 at 10 p.m. on We tv.
