GAL APPROVED Sip Australia’s Fine Wines. Plus: Wild Gala Fundraiser & Fancy Food From Around the Globe!By The DivaGals | July 1, 2016 | Gal Approved
TASTE. The DivaGals took a tour around the world, without ever leaving the Javits Center, inside the Summer Fancy Food Festival. We experienced cuisine across the globe, from countries like Morocco, Thailand, Turkey, Greece and Mexico, just to name a few. Look for our upcoming story on throwing a Moroccan food feast, right in your own home!
TASTE TOO. To check out the land Down Under, we only had to go as far as The Nomad Hotel. There, Tourism Australia hosted a boozy brunch to showcase some of their finest wines and dishes. The land known for delicious leading men like the Hemsworth brothers, Grant Bowling and Russell Crowe is very big on barbeque, that “shrimp on the barbie” line comes to them honestly!
We enjoyed the Pewsy Vale Dry Reisling from South Australia; the Moorooduc Estate Pinot Noir from Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne; and the Jansz Premium Cuvee sparkling wine from Tasmania, just to name a few, as well as beers from the region.
Fine dining and a thriving wine industry? That is indeed a good day, mate! See more pics on our DivaGals FB page.
