Tichina Arnold’s Directorial Debut!

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. BET HER has once again partnered with producer Tressa Azarel Smallwood of MegaMind Media for BET Her Presents: The Waiting Room, a series that brings to light the health struggles experienced by black women. The Neighborhood star Tichina Arnold makes her directorial debut with Oh Baby Baby! a short feature focused on a high fashion entrepreneur trying to conceive a child, who must face the severe breast cancer repercussions caused by her IVF treatments.

Watch our Luxe Gal Maureen Martin with Tichina, who shares the importance of this project, discusses her directorial style and reveals why there’s nothing like being an NYC gal (which we know!).

Oh Baby Baby! (along with a second film directed by LisaRaye McCoy) premieres Oct. 8 at 10 pm ET/PT, on BET Her.
