GAL APPROVED! Chanel in the City Stomps Out Bullying! Space 54 NY Opens. Primetime Emmys This Weekend!By Delaina Dixon | September 20, 2019 | Gal Approved
SUPPORT. We’re so proud of our fellow DivaGal Chanel Omari. This week, her podcast Chanel in the City hosted a comedy event to end bullying, with special VIP guest Luann De Lesseps. The room was packed inside Slate nightclub as Chanel and Luann presented a rousing night of comedy. That included Jacques Azoulay, Luann’s ex, who did some pretty funny jokes about being French.
Chanel put together the event to benefit Stomp Out Bullying, a nonprofit that aims to “reduce and prevent bullying, cyberbullying and other digital abuse, educates against homophobia, LGBTQ discrimination, racism… and deter violence in schools, online and in communities across the country,” according to its website. Of course, her adorbs parents were on the carpet to show their support!
In the audience were several women from The Fortune Society, a nonprofit that supports successful re-entry from incarceration, Luann’s personal charitable endeavor. FYI: we did spot all of Luann’s The Real Housewives of New York castmates in the audience as well! Make sure to visit Chanel in the City to hear Chanel’s celebrity-filled podcasts.
BOOK. There’s a new space open in New York City, and we promise you won’t forget the name! SPACE 54 NY is a new state of the art venue, offering built-in lighting, music, staging and more! At the private grand opening, we enjoyed an evening of cocktails and sushi-so-tasty.
Of course, Space NY served up entertainment, which included gorgeous gals dipped in gold, magic tricks and contortionists working the rings (they would make Hustlers‘ Jennifer Lopez proud!). Owners Elvira and Jim Grau owned Space in NJ for nearly 15 years, and now they are bringing their knowledge and faith to NYC!
If you’re looking for a space in the Big Apple that’s unrivaled, book Space NY! Located at 226 East 54th Street.
WATCH. The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards air live from the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, this Sunday, 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
