File our That’s My Boy movie review under “and now for something completely different” … Adam Sandler is back in all his inappropriate, locker-room gross out style humor in the new comedy, which theorizes what happens to the teenage age boy who gets his junior high school teacher pregnant, once he and his son are all grown up.┬á This time Adam has Andy Sandberg and Vanilla Ice as his unlikely son and side-kick — yes in that order — along with an odd ball set of misfits that you will recognize from the eighties. The ladies in the cast include Leighton Meister, Ciara, Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri Martino, who play the same character at different ages. It’s all fun, gross and tasteless, but would we expect less from Adam Sandler? Of all the characters in this mad escapade we have to say that Vanilla Ice was a standout. If dad has a sense of potty humor, he’ll get a kick out of this. That’s My Boy opens nationwide today.
