SUPPORT. Our resident Health Diva, Dr. Janna Andrews, is hosting the Kicked It In Heels 4th Annual Fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 22! This year’s theme is embracing diversity as the group honors Byron Kirkland, a male breast cancer survivor; and Grace Paeck, a young woman diagnosed with breast cancer in her 20s. MC Lyte ΓÇô the iconic lyricist, DJ, inspirational speaker and hip-hop pioneer, will graciously host and spin for the event. The celebration is at New York City’s Tao Lounge Downtown from 7-10 pm and will include an open bar and passed hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds raised during the 2015 Kicked It In Heels Benefit will support our mission, which is to further the end of health care disparities in breast cancer by focusing on breast cancer survivors, specifically women of color and young women.
