GAL APPROVED HOT SPOTS! Wendy Williams’ 500th Show Party, A Wedding Space and Light-Up Art!

WENDY! How do you celebrate your 500th episode? If you’re Wendy Williams, you’re inside Element nightclub on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Decking out two floors of the establishment in black and white zebra stripes and pink, you pump the music as guests hit the candy bar and sip on Pucker vodka cocktails. Our own DivaGals Aminat and Maureen hit the carpet with Joanna Maxham’s lovely patent leather clutch and South African designer, Angelo Lambrou dresses (remember when we judged him on Sundance Channel’s All On the Line?) as the lady of the hour arrived — fashionably late! — and celebrated with a crew of her famous friends! And a little shoutout for DivaGalsDaily.com — this is our 1,500th post!

WED! Located in the landmark DeVinne Press Building, Astor Center events space consists of four distinct areas: the Study, the Kitchen, the Gallery and the Lounge ΓÇô which allows you to create a lovely Manhattan-themed wedding four times over. Or you can host a private culinary class or a wine tasting for a select group of friends. Its elegant and open floor plan allows you to fill the space with your vision for florals, linens and dishware. We’re already envisioning what we’d do for a DivaGals fete!

WOW! We had always wondered what was in The Museum of Arts and Design in Columbus Circle. At the 2012 MAD L.E.D. Ball we saw how art and light can become one, through a generous contribution of the Lighting Science Group. We know we’re stars, so we loved this design. Also on display was a collection of uniquely constructed necklaces (we craved this one that looks like a donut!).Celebs in attendance included designer extraordinaire Nate Berkus and 90210‘s Shenae Grimes.
