Check out these New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer ’25 shows that took Manhattan by storm!
African Pride

The highlight of our NYFW was attending a runway show from African Pride and Darling Extensions. Filled with hair fabulousness, fashion designers Joseph McCrae and KDaniels‘ looks were crowned with braids, texture, height and a little sassiness. Kudos to the talented Xia Charles of Braided Hair, who was not playing! She came to slay, and she killed it!

The grand finale featured model and Netflix’s Love Island winner Kordell Beckham.
Chuk Collins

Chuks Collins‘ New York Fashion Week SS25 runway fashion merged a powerful message of sustainability and social responsibility against domestic violence. The designer presented “Nné,” a testament to his rich cultural African heritage and dedication to making a positive impact through fashion.
Grace Ling, Eckhaus Latta and Theophilio

Brooklyn-based contemporary clothing brand Theophilio tapped Gotham, New York City’s premier cannabis concept store, for their SS25 presentation and after party. Creative director Edvin Thompson, who fuses Jamaican nostalgia with New York’s progressive culture, offered premier cannabis products to their A-list guests, including Lil Nas X, Evan Mock, Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, June Ambrose and more. Gift bags included MFNY vape pens and pre-rolls, and edibles from WYLD and Off Hours.

Grace Ling showcased “primitive-chic” ready-to-wear and couture looks that offered scorched, torn, burnt, and windswept elements, while Eckhaus Latta hosted an intimate family-style dinner and a show.
