GAL APPROVED! Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation – Hamptons Happenings For This Summer!

This past Wednesday, we had a chance to visit Versa for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s cocktail reception to launch the 19th Annual Hamptons Happening and the virtual “Step Up To Turn Off Cancer endurance event. The Hamptons Happening honorees Lori and Scott Levine, Richard Kind, James Ingram, Leesa Rowland, Orital Karelic, Marion Waxman, designer Kobi Halperin, Randi Schatz, Nadja Sayej, event chairs Mark D. Friedman and Jamie Koff, and event co-chairs Bryan Griffin, Elena Gibbs, Bess Freedman and Erica Linden-Fineberg were among the notable guests who attended, along with the DivaGals.

One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year, the Hamptons Happenings, will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Kenneth and Maria Fishel’s Bridgehampton Estate. In addition to helping to raise vital funding for cancer research, attendees will enjoy a night of delectable sampling from numerous chefs, restaurants and beverage producers.

Make sure to take participate in the virtual step challenge. You can easily fulfill the daily “step” target for the Step Up To Turn Cancer Off virtual fundraising event by using a fitness tracker app. You can turn almost any activity—including walking, running, swimming, dancing, yoga and gardening—into steps. Individuals and teams can sign up, then participants can communicate their progress. Participants can register individually or as a team and then share progress with peers and family to garner donations. The week-long challenge runs from June 19th through 26th, 2023.
