GAL APPROVED Surprise Candles, Peanut Goodness & Snap Into Spring

SEE. Spring is here and we’re all about getting our pretty on! That’s why we were so happy to see the amazing bfloral arrangements at the Lumia media event last month! New York’s Premiere Floral Design Company provided stunning arrays of flowers in vivid red and oranges and pastel hues of green and yellow. And then we had a chance to make our own arrangement. Our tip: leave the handiwork up to the professionals! We also got our nails done in saucy spring shades provided by Townhouse Spa’s new nail polish collection JS. With our new Lumia smart phone, powered by Microsoft, we captured a few (ok, too many) shots. Hey, with optical image stabilization and editing controls to fix lighting and image, how could we resist!

SMELL. Jackpot Candles are fragrantly soy based, but the scented candle is only the first part of the experience, as they come with a surprise inside. It’s kind of like a Cracker Jack box, except you score a real jewel with an appraised value — a foil-wrapped jewelry item┬á valued between $15 and $5,000! TASTE. Love your PB&J? Ever wondered where that little peanut came from? We got schooled on the life a peanut at the Peanut BoardΓÇÖs VIP Pop-Up event at New York City’s Roger Smith Hotel. We also got to dig into some majorly good bites made with peanut butter, created by JJ Johnson, chef de cuisine at HarlemΓÇÖs famed The Cecil, named the Best New Restaurant in America by Esquire magazine! We took home our fave, Peanut Butter & Co. White Chocolate Wonderful, and could barely wait to get home to scoop up a tablespoon!
