TICK. TV DivaGal has an obsession with watches. So I jumped at the chance to attend the launch party of the ESQ One by Movado at the flagship Lord & Taylor in New York City. The party, hosted by my pal, relationship expert Andrea Syrtash (her latest book It’s Okay to Sleep With Him on the First Date: And Every Other Rule of Dating, Debunked, is thoroughly refreshing), showcased the new collection: silicone-wrapped bands in a rainbow of colors that are Swiss quartz precise and water resistant. ESQOne MovadoMy ESQ One fave is in berry and pink; a girlie color with a pop of edge. Retails for $150.

50shadeswinepromoTASTE. For those of you who can’t wait until 2015 to get your fix of Fifty Shades of Grey, then run and get yourself a couple of bottles of E L James’ Official Fifty Shades of Grey wine. The Red Satin is bold but smooth, while the White Silk is crisp and cool. Hard to have just one taste, much like Christian Grey.

TICKLE. Some people swear bigger is better, but as TV DivaGal is just a short girl living in a average-sized world, I love it when I can celebrate my tiny stature. Now there’s a book, I’d Rather Be Short: 100 Reasons Why It’s Great to Be Small by Becky Murphy, who shares my (barely) 5′ foot stature, which celebrates why it’s so terrific to be teeny. She obviously knows the short girls’ code ΓÇô like being able to shop with ease in the kids department and being in front in every photo. And there’s some ones that will make you chuckle, like it’s easier to escape through a small window during a bear attack. So for all my small sisters out there (Lil’ Kim and Kristin Chenoweth, I’m talking to you!), pick up this super tiny read and get ready to have a super-sized smile.
